Friends of the Porongurup Range
We are a not-for profit conservation organisation who cherish the region’s natural landscape
including National Heritage listed Porongurup National Park
and the Friends of the Porongurup Range owned Twin Creeks Conservation Reserve.
Model Rules
Promote the unique natural history and beauty of the Porongurup region,
Initiate community activities to protect, to preserve, to rehabilitate the diversity of the Porongurup region’s flora and fauna
Collaborate with like-minded organisations to share ideas and learn from their experiences
Communicate with indigenous groups and elders to understand connections to country and cultural history
Coordinate activities that support appreciation of nature
Address current and emerging environmental issues
Advocate for policies to protect and preserve the biodiversity and ecological integrity of the Porongurup region
